Day 3: A Very Busy Day

Yesterday was Friday the 24th and I completed almost everything on my task list. This alone made me so happy and it feels really good being able to complete the items in my bullet journal. Today is going to be another busy day and I want to toss in some blog related things. I also really want to try to get everything on my to do list completed before dinner, which is around 5 o'clock for me.

I think a big contributor to my productivity yesterday was switching up where I work. This alone did wonders, but I downloaded the app Forest as well. The app insures that I won't go on something else on phone. By the way I'm no sponsored by them, I'm going to keep using the app to see if it works me, hopefully it will. If it does I will be giving a full review on it.

Another big thing that is starting to happen is I am sticking to my bullet journal!!! Typically  if I don't complete the said tasks for the day I will be too hard on myself. After doing it for about a week, I think it's sticking, but we will see. I bought another one just in case. I also bought some things to start hand lettering, which I have always wanted to do.

Sadly, I am still overwhelmed with the amount of things I have to do. I am determined not to let my anxiety get to me. In the past it has prevented me from doing cool experiences that would have been wonderful for me. I haven't really found anyways of coping with it while I am working. Hopefully that will change.

Have a wonderful day,

Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of my journey to the perfect student. Today I'm going to focus on getting a lot of things done. First thing is a recap from yesterday and I didn't accomplish much expect reading 100 pages of The Hobbit and did 3 Calculus. That is two things off of my to do list for yesterday and I think that is great. I think the hardest part for me is getting started. After I completed two out four things I felt really happy and full of energy. I have no clue what the day is going to have in store for me.

Today I really want to try super hard to completed my open tasks in my bullet journal. I have two doctors appointment next week and that means I really have to get a lot done today and during this long weekend. If I completed everything that I want for today I want to have the whole evening to myself. That includes redoing my nails which is something that needs to be done, because these nails are nasty.

Some of the self care I want to implement today is following a morning routine, eat snacks in between meals, drink 4 bottles of water, and do some yoga. I also want to clean my room which I would consider a self-care habit/task. One of major goals this year is to take care of myself and focus on me.

A few posts that you should be looking out for are a morning routine and what backpack am I buying for college. Because yes, college is going to be here before I know it and I want to get as much shopping done before I leave. I will also be doing tons of college related posts for the upcoming senior year.

Again, I have no clue where this is heading, but I hope it's too something good. I also would like to point out that you will be seeing these posts a day late, so today is the 17th as I'm writing this. You can follow me on all my social media @chey_ouatar. This is a lame conclusion, but until I come with something better, this is what I have.

Have a Nice Day,

Day 1

Welcome to day of my journey to becoming a better student than I am. This whole thing is suppose to help motivate me into doing better and getting things done. I hopefully can help someone as I help myself. Like I said in my introduction post I struggle with really bad anxiety and I probably have some depression. This affects my everyday life and next year I will be in college, and I can't have this affect me as much as it does. So, I'm sort of going to be learning tips as I go along with this 'journey.' The goal is NOT to become the perfect student as much as I want to strive for perfection that will not help my mental health at all.

I think every month I want to start building a couple good habits. This week I want to try to get into a good planning routine and stick to it as much possible. I'm really into bullet journals, but if I fail at it then I stop doing it. Which isn't good and that is a nasty habit I need to kick. I also want to get into a good self care regimen, so I can focus on myself. I believe I need to have self-care time because if I work all the time then I will go crazy.

Here's what I have to get done before school tomorrow I'm going to a lot myself three hours of hardcore studying time to get work done. Now I would like to point out I am behind because of a family emergency that happened in January and the beginning of February this here really affected me and took time from school.

  1. 3 Calculus Assignments(one of them is done I just have to turn it in)
  2. 3 Physics Assignments
  3. History Assignment
  4. Read 100 pages of the Hobbit
That shall take about three hours to finish. Stay tune for Day 2 to find out if I have successfully completed these tasks because why not? I also will be sharing some useful tips that helped me get things done. If anyone has any tips on anything please leave them in the comments below. You can find me on all social media @chey_ouatar.

Have a nice day,

Hello, my name is Cheyenne and I run a book blog called Once Upon A Time A Review, which is a book blog. Sadly, these past few months I haven’t been doing much of everything. I have been having a horrible time staying focus and getting motivated to anything. The biggest to contribution to this is my anxiety and I’m actually going to get help with that next month
Senior year is quickly coming to an end meaning I really need to do my best these last couple months.A Journey to the Perfect Student is a way for me to hold myself accountable and share what I am doing. In hopes that it might help someone else and maybe someone will help me. I have no clue how this blog is going to work, but I’m going to do it.
